New project by ROOKIE A GO-GO artists!

The "aim for the main stage!" project, offers performers from last year's Rookie a Go-Go a chance to play on one of the main stages!

PERFORM AT FRF '12! AIM FOR THE MAIN STAGE! In this project, one of the bands out of a total of 1,300 applicants to perform at last year's ROOKIE A GO GO Stage will have the chance to perform at one of the festival's main stages: the GREEN STAGE, WHITE STAGE, RED MARQUEE, FIELD OF HEAVEN or the ORANGE COURT!

With the results from the first round of voting completed at ROOKIE A GO GO during last year's festival, the second and final round of voting starts in the beginning of March!
Your vote will decide which band will win a chance to perform on a main stage in this online final voting round!

Check up-to-date show schedules and news on the 14 entrants at a special website going online ahead of the final round of voting!
Information on the first round of voting and details on the second and final round of online voting in addition to details on the project will also be available on the website.

Some of the festival lineup has already been announced, earlier than usual. Popular 'Hayawari' early bird tickets will be available again this year!

  • One application per person only. Multiple applications will be invalid.

Auto camp site 'MOON CARAVAN' tickets will be sold from the pre-order phase.

Tickets available for Hayawari

• 'Hayawari' Early Bird 3-day entrance ticket ¥34,800

  • A free shuttle bus service between Echigoyuzawa station and the festival site
  • The entrance ticket (3-day) is valid from July 27 (Fri) 09:00 until July 30 (Mon) 05:00.

• Camp site ticket ¥3,000/person, valid for festival period

  • Not sold separately from entrance tickets.
  • The number of campsite tickets you purchase cannot exceed the number of entrance tickets you hold.
  • The campsite ticket is valid from July 26 (Thu) 12:00 - July 30 (Mon) 12:00
  • Campsite is on the golf course of Naeba Ski Resort and there is a slope.
  • The campsite is the only place you can pitch tents.
  • No fires are allowed in the camp site.
  • There will be a BBQ area, cooking in other areas is not permitted.
  • You cannot drive in the campsite.
  • There will be shower facilities (no hot water) solely for campers. Naeba Onsen (hot spring) is also available for a fee.

• Car park pass (3-day) ¥9,000 per car (2+ people)

  • Not sold separately from entrance tickets and only available for a group of two or more people sharing a car.
  • If more than 3 people are sharing a car, please make sure to have entrance tickets for all passengers.
  • The car park pass (3-day) will be valid from July 26 (Thu) 12:00 until July 30 (Mon) 12:00 at the assigned space only.
  • The car park pass will be invalid if torn off from the car park ticket
  • Large vehicles that exceed 6 metres in length (such as a micro bus) cannot be parked in car parks.
  • Parking bicycles and motor bikes is free. Please use a specified parking space in the on-site No1 car park.
  • The number of available car park spaces is limited. Please purchase car park passes at the earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment.

Please note when purchasing tickets:

  • An entrance ticket is valid for one person only.
  • Primary school age children or under 12 years of age are free to enter the site as long as they are accompanied by their carers.
  • The car park pass and a campsite ticket are not sold separately from entrance tickets. If you plan to come by car, please purchase a car park pass.
  • Entrance ticket holders can use a free shuttle bus service between Echigoyuzawa station and the festival site
  • Tickets will be exchanged with wrist bands at the Festival site. You cannot enter the site without the exchange.
  • After exchanging your ticket, the wristband will be the proof of your ticket purchase. Please look after it with care during the Festival period.
  • Lost wristbands will not be re-issued for any reason. Guests without a wristband will be asked to leave the site or re-purchase a ticket, so please be extra careful not to loose it.
  • You may not make a change or cancellation once you place your application.
  • Tickets booked will be dispatched early July.

Please note:

  • The Festival office may change rules to assure the smooth running of operations. Tickets are not refundable for such operational rule change regardless of the ways such changes are notified. Thank you for understanding.
  • The festival will be not be cancelled due to rain or inclement weather (except for a natural disaster). Tickets cannot be refunded due to artist cancellation.
  • Please avoid excess drinking. A drunken person out of control may be ejected from the festival site.
  • Any dangerous behaviour that may harm other people, such as moshing and diving, is prohibited. The Festival will not be responsible for injuries and accidents with a third party. Such incidents need to be solved between the people involved.
  • Tents, tarp shelters, flysheets and parasols as well as any installed objects that obstruct others view are not allowed in the festival site.
  • If anybody is found to have entered the festival illegally, it will be reported to the police and the violating person will be put under their care. The person will also be subject to pay compensation for any damage.
  • Please refrain from any behaviour that can cause annoyance to local people. Please do not arrive by car without a car park pass.
  • Due to local regulations, people under 18 years must return to their accommodation by 11pm.
  • The last stage will not finish on time for you to catch the last train from Echigo-Yuzawa station each day. Please make your accommodation arrangements through the tour centre or by purchasing a campsite ticket. Please do not sleep in the local neighbourhood and/or in the station area.
  • Animals, glass bottles, cans, fireworks, explosives and any illegal substances are not allowed to be brought into the festival site.
  • The production, the site and the artists will not be responsible for accidents and thefts in and out of the festival site.
  • A person who causes any disturbance or does not follow instructions by staff will be ejected from the festival site. A ticket will not be refunded in this case.
  • Tickets will be exchanged with wristbands at the Festival site.
  • You may bring a camera and/or video camera into the site but it is strictly prohibited to record the artists. No sound recording equipment is allowed on the site.
  • Please be prepared for rain and/or cold weather. Umbrellas are not allowed in the site.
  • Please use a portable ashtray if you smoke.
  • Please consult terms and conditions on the official site before purchasing tickets.
  • Customer details submitted with the application will be retained by
    the organiser.
