This unique project collected surfers and sound creaters to compile a film without any leader profiles such as a producer and a director or a set plan or rehersals. "Glastonbury" 24:50-
Glastonbury Festival that started as a small private event by a young country farmer who invited a few musicians to his farm to play. It has been more than 35 years since, over 100,000 people gather at this festival now. This film does not focus on music only but it shows the festival's history and cultural background as well as communication with local residents - you would feel as if you are actually experiencing the festival.
Directed by Julien Temple known for Sex Pistols documentary "NO FUTURE A SEX PISTOLS FILM".

"Afro Punk" 24:00-
The documentary film follows the lives of 4 afro punk kids in punk rock community dominated by white people. The film features interviews of Bad Brains, Fishbone, TV on the Radio, The Eternals, Dead Kennedy and more. Also includes Bad Brain's 1980 live at CBGB! It will be shown at Theatre N Shibuya from August 4. A DVD and a soundtrack CD will be on sale from September 21. Don't miss this premiere preview.

"LONDON CALLING/The Life of Joe Strummer" 25:20-
The documentary of the legendary punk band The Clash's front man Joe Strummer. To reflect Strummer's world wide popularity and influence, the film features interviews with world class big names such as Jonny Depp and Bono. Full of precious clips like recording scene of 'White Riot', unreleased live scenes recorded prior to the band's debut. The big preview before the film comes to cinemas in September.

NEW POWER GEAR

Every year, Fuji Rock Festival challenge various environmental issues. 'NEW POWER GEAR', the campaign to tackle CO2 emissions by introducing soft energy, 'No rubbish' campaign to recycle waste within the festival and a carbon neutral attempt to cancel out CO2 by planting trees.
NGP VILLAGE
11 NGOs that raise issues about three main themes 'global warming', 'natural energy' and 'poverty'.
BOARD WALK
Since 2002, over 1,500 volunteers and Naeba local residents have collaborated to build the board walk to create an access route for wheelchair users. It is now 1.4km long and is still extending thanks to all volunteers.
Almost completed to reach Green Stage! Board Walk Camp will be held from 14 to 16 of July.

Rookie a go-go audition
A chance for new bands to play on a Fuji Rock stage. 'ROOKIE A GO-GO' started in 2001 and welcomes 7th year. Many bands started on this stage and have moved up to bigger stages after their appearance on 'ROOKIE A GO-GO'.
We welcome applications from bands between March 1 (Thu) and April 20 (Fri).

Liquid Heaven
The party is now 3 years old. It has started with an attempt to reproduce Field of Heaven in Liquid Room in Ebisu.
